In 1980, Cleveland Wrecking chose to close its Chicago facility and a group of those employees decided to continue as U.S. Dismantlement Corporation. The group had wide ranging skill within the industry and many years of experience both in management and in the field providing selective demolition, total demolition, commercial/industrial and automotive demolition throughout the Midwest. T. Harry Gieschen purchased the company in 1996 and re-branded U.S. Dismantlement Corporation to USD LLC. In addition, Redline Demolition was established as a sister company to focus on industrial and automotive demolition. The name Redline was chosen for its association with the automotive industry and because we have a reputation for working fast and safe.
